TASA’s 7th year starts on a high note

TASA welcomed students back to school for the new year on August 22, beginning their day with morning Teffilah (prayers), followed by an all-school assembly. During staff introductions, students welcomed several new TASA staff members including P.E. Coach Carla Keegan, Art teacher Erika Henderson, Kindergarten teacher Rebecca Belka and Office Administrator Vanessa Kock. Among those returning to TASA are Rabbi Moshe Rosenwasser, who has assumed a greater role in teaching Middle School Judaic Studies.

During the school assembly, students separated into special “Spirit Teams” for some fun team building and “ice breaker” activities.

“This activity was especially helpful for our Kindergarteners and new students,” said Jessica Diric, Director of General Studies.

“We are extremely excited to begin our school year with 40 students, marking significant growth,” said Rabbi Yossi Marrus, Dean of Students and Director of Judaic Studies.
