Newly designed Holocaust Memorial Museum website shares virtual resources

Kate McCloud, HMMSA Program Director
The Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio (HMMSA) recently redesigned its website to better serve visitors and local educators. In addition to a new look, the site now has a variety of new resources to support teachers and students with virtual learning opportunities. Some of the new content includes: a teacher’s guide to assist educators in introducing the Holocaust to their students, student worksheets for use with a virtual video tour and online survivor testimony and book reviews of Holocaust-related material for students and adults.
The website now offers new ways to “visit” the museum online with photos and text from the exhibits, a short video walk-through of the museum’s main exhibit and an interactive page.
This effort was made possible by a grant from Nathalie and Gladys Dalkowitz Charitable Trust. The museum is a program of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio.
