At the heart of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio’s mission lies the commitment to nurturing and empowering the next generation of influential voices, dedicated board members, and catalysts for change within the community. The Jewish Leadership, Engagement, and Values (J-LEV) program is a transformative initiative aimed at fostering forward-looking, effective, and philanthropically-driven volunteer leaders for both the Federation and the wider San Antonio Jewish community. In these times of complexity, we seek a dynamic and inclusive network of emerging leaders poised to tackle the intricate challenges that lay ahead for our local Jewish community.

The J-LEV program offers an immersive experience that blends education, collaboration, and community outreach. Through interactive workshops, networking events, and hands-on volunteering, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the organizations supported by the Jewish Federation. The program serves as a launching pad for young adults to become catalysts for change, channeling their passion into projects that drive positive transformation.

Graduate of Cohort 2, Sam Planto, said “J-LEV helped me learn more about the different organizations that the Jewish Federation of San Antonio supports. It was a great stepping stone for me to continue my involvement in the Jewish community. I learned so much that I didn’t know about organizations that are working every day to support not only the Jewish community but the San Antonio community as a whole. If you want to get involved in the community but don’t know how I would recommend J-LEV.”

We invite you to be a part of this exciting journey as we shape the leaders of tomorrow. To learn more and apply for the J-LEV program, visit jfsatx.org/jlev. By joining us, you’re not only investing in your own growth but also contributing to the vitality of the San Antonio Jewish community for the years to come.

Applications close FRIDAY, AUGUST 25.
