San Antonio Representatives Attend Partnership2gether Western Galilee Summit
Lauren and Jill are joined by representatives of Partnership2gether communities from Omaha, Fort Worth, and other mid-western cities during a tour of Notre Dame University.
The Partnership2gether Western Galilee Consortium hosted its annual Partnership Summit Summer Meeting in South Bend, Indiana on July 14-16, 2019. Federation professionals Jill Jacobs, Senior Director of Development, and Lauren Abraham, Education and Engagement Coordinator, were in attendance to represent San Antonio, Texas. During the Summit, lay leadership and professional staff from 15 United States cities and Budapest, Hungary, joined the Israeli staff and leaders from the Western Galilee region.
The highlights of the Summit were a day-long intensive Jewish engagement workshop led by the engagement team of the Jewish Federation of Buffalo, New York, an evening tour of Notre Dame University where Israel connections were highlighted, and visits to local synagogues in the Indiana area.
Partnership2gether also shared upcoming opportunities for connection that include visiting delegations of young adults, academics, and other ways to connect through education, cooking, singing, dancing, and more.
