Young Jewish families enjoyed a Hanukkah-themed PJ Library Drive-Thru
January 6, 2021
PJ Library, a family program focused on young children, hosted a Hanukkah drive-through on December 13 with community partners Rodfei Sholom, Gan Gani Academy with Camp Gan Israel, Heintz preschool, Block and Dreeben preschool, Temple Beth-El, and LIFE & LEGACY. Approximately 125 children were treated to sufganiyot, Hannukah crafts and activities, music, and Hanukkah candles. This drive-through allowed the community to come together in a safe, fun, and festive environment. PJ Library San Antonio is looking forward to more events in 2021.
PJ Library was honored to have the author of Mensch on a Bench, Neal Hoffman, read his new story Mitzvah Moose for its Sunday Story Time. Look for the PJ Library Sunday Story Time each second Sunday of the month on Facebook.
