Courageous Conversations Book Series: Featuring Isabel Wilkerson

February 1, 2022

Please join us online Tuesday, April 26th at 7:00 p.m. along with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, and the greater San Antonio community as we conclude our Courageous Conversations book series featuring Caste: The Origins of our Discontent,” with a presentation and Q&A with the author, Isabel Wilkerson. Prior to the evening discussion, Temple teens and teens from Antioch Baptist Church are invited to join Wilkerson at 5:00 p.m. for a Zoom discussion on the importance of engaging in the work of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion), and the challenges of being an active anti-racist as a young adult.

Isabel Wilkerson, the winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Humanities Medal, has become a leading figure in narrative nonfiction. She is widely hailed as an astute interpreter of the human condition, and an impassioned voice for demonstrating how history can help us understand ourselves our country, and our current era of upheaval. We are thrilled to host her in San Antonio this Spring.
