March 1, 2022
The Jewish Federation of San Antonio has announced two critical new appointments that will help to sustain and strengthen the Jewish community and San Antonio at large.
Danielle Vogl will serve as the new Senior Director of Development for the Jewish Federation of San Antonio. In this role, Danielle will oversee Federation’s Annual Campaign and other fundraising efforts that support vital programming and initiatives here in San Antonio including the Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Jewish Community Relations Council, Jewish Family Service, the Barshop Jewish Community Center, and others – along with programs that serve both Jews and non-Jews around the U.S., Israel, and the world.
“Danielle is a veteran nonprofit professional who has extensive experience with Jewish communal service and development,” said Nammie Ichilov, President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio. “Danielle understands our landscape in San Antonio and will be a key leader in securing the future of our community.”
Danielle comes to the Jewish Federation of San Antonio after seven years with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), where she educated Jewish communities in San Antonio and Austin on policy and the US-Israel relationship. She holds a master’s degree in International Human Rights from the University of Denver along with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Political Science. Danielle also studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, interning with the Israeli Ministry of Justice and its anti-human trafficking bureau.
Former Director of Development, Beth Keough, will become the Federation’s Director of Planned Giving, a position dedicated to building community endowments and strengthening the Jewish community and its relationship with greater San Antonio.
“Beth has been a phenomenal leader for Jewish Federation and the San Antonio Jewish community for many years,” said Ichilov. “In this new role, Beth will be able to further strengthen the foundation of our community and the future of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio as well.”
