Shannon Seglin: Making an Impact in the San Antonio Jewish Community

March 1, 2022

Shannon Seglin, a Nebraskan transplant, children’s librarian, J-LEV Leadership Program cohort participant, and monthly donor to JFSA, is making it her mission to make a difference in our Jewish community. Shannon remarks, “a community takes care of each other.  This is particularly true of the San Antonio Jewish community.  When you feel like you are part of that community, you do what you can to keep it sustainable for the future.” Shannon is volunteering her time and enrolled in JFSA’s CHAIcircle monthly giving program to ensure the vibrancy and longevity of the San Antonio Jewish community. “The idea that every month a little piece of the circle of life is given to the Jewish Federation to help out the needs of the Jewish community makes me feel like I am making a difference, even if it is small.  Collectively, all the CHAIcircle members can grow the circle and help sustain the community.” Shannon knows that finding her place in the Jewish community will make a difference, and through leadership development and monthly financial support, she is making positive steps for our community’s future. Thank you, Shannon, for your investment in building and sustaining our community!
