Kesher Shalom Registration Open For Fall

August 9, 2021

Kesher Shalom (The Shalom Connection), Congregation Shalom’s innovative education program for kids entering Kindergarten – 7th grade, will begin its new year on Sunday, September 12. Kesher Shalom meets regularly on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:30, and for the foreseeable future, will continue meeting on Zoom. Rabbi Lisa Goldstein leads children in a variety of activities each week which include discussions, art projects, music, games, cooking, and lessons centered on timely Jewish topics relevant to the kids’ experiences. The highly interactive curriculum includes weekly Hebrew instruction, T’filah (prayer), holiday celebrations, Jewish values, Bible, age-appropriate theology, and more.

Kesher Shalom is a benefit of Congregation Shalom membership, and is open to all. There is no charge for Temple Chai members; non-members can participate through tuition registration. For more information or to register, visit https://www.shalomsa.org/kesher-shalom or call 210.474.6082.
