December 5, 2022

The students at Torah Academy of San Antonio welcomed a few visitors in honor of Veteran’s day. Chaplain Stern, who currently serves as the Chaplain at Fort Sam Houston, stopped by to share some of his very inspiring stories about what it’s like being a Jewish member of the Armed Forces. In addition, COL(Colonel) Dwayne Bechtol, Director of the Division of Veterinary Science and LTC (Lieutenant Colonel) Sara Hegge, who is the Attending Veterinarian at Fort Sam Houston, visited the students along with a puppy in Training, Effy. Students had a hands-on experience with one of their training dog mannequins.
