Young Adults Talk Moishe Pod: Jeremy Rosen

June 15, 2021

Anna Schragin, Manager of the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio, sat down with Jeremy Rosen, to discuss the effort to bring Moishe Pod, a subset of Moishe House, to San Antonio.

Anna: So Jeremy,  what would a Moishe Pod mean for you and the San Antonio community?

Jeremy: The Moishe House organization played a big part in keeping me involved in the Jewish community back home. I regularly attended all sorts of events and Shabbat meals with friends. Having a local Moishe Pod would be great for our community to serve as a no-pressure hub for local Jewish young adults to meet and mingle.

Anna: What inspires your commitment to the young adult Jewish San Antonio community?

Jeremy: The YAD community is the future of the San Antonio Jewish community. Being involved has led me to deepen my commitment to Judaism and Israel.

Anna: That’s great! Thank you for giving to the Moishe Pod campaign. While this campaign is separate from the Annual Campaign, can you tell me why you give to the Jewish Federation of San Antonio?

Jeremy: JFSA touches so many different people in San Antonio, the rest of the country, Israel, and around the world. I have visited with organizations in Israel that rely on funds from JFSA via JFNA and seen the good that my money does around the world.

 Anna: Thank you so much!
