J-LEV, which stands for Jewish-Leadership, Engagement and Values, is designed for Jewish young adults to become the next generation of leaders for the San Antonio Jewish community.
Over the coming year, the participants will build skills, deepen relationships, and explore what it means to lead as part of Jewish San Antonio.
J-LEV is designed to:
- Promote participation in Jewish community leadership;
- Advance participants leadership skills;
- Strengthen understanding of our community’s agencies and institutions;
- Connect leadership to Jewish values;
- And, build a network of peers committed to Jewish life in San Antonio
Through interactive workshops, panels with community leaders, a leadership trip to Washington D.C., and meaningful peer learning, participants will gain the tools to step into the leadership journey with confidence and purpose.
The curriculum for the program represents both tradition and innovation: grounding leadership in timeless Jewish values while preparing these young adults to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s Jewish world. Together, they will learn, celebrate, and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.
