Hadassah Alzheimer’s Awareness Event

The Aviva Group and San Antonio Chapter of Hadassah hosted an Alzheimer’s Awareness Event on Sunday, Sept. 22, in partnership with Congregation Rodfei Sholom and The Alzheimer’s Association of San Antonio.

Hadassah organizers and speakers, Keng Chester and Lisa Garcia, kicked off the event with a few words about Hadassah’s research into Alzheimer’s, including using the power of stem cells to protect the brain. Ginny Funk with the Alzheimer’s Association presented the latest news on the disease.
