JFS Board Names Jennifer Regnier as New CEO

January 12, 2022

With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Jennifer Regnier is ready to take Jewish Family Service of San Antonio to the next level of mental health and social services as its new Chief Executive Officer.

“The positive impact JFS has on the San Antonio community through its programs is what lead me to support the organization before I was even part of the team,” said Regnier. “I look forward to leading that work and expanding our services to more people in the San Antonio community.”

Before joining the JFS team, Regnier served three years as Executive Director of Spurs Give, the official nonprofit of the San Antonio Spurs. Under her direction, Spurs Give provided health, wellness, and education for South and Central Texas families.

Regnier oversaw a Spurs Give rebrand, created a partnership with the city of San Antonio for $1 million parks renovations, provided assistance to those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic through the Spurs Give Together Fund, and worked with the mayor’s office after the February 2021 winter storm through the Texas Pipe Repair Fund.

She also worked with JFS to secure funding from Spurs Give and Bexar County for the San Antonio Mobile Mental Wellness Collaborative, a group of five nonprofits that provide mental wellness resources to schools.

Regnier said her time as a leader impacting global change within the Starbucks Coffee Company bolstered her desire to always do better, inspire those around her to always strive for more, and embody the true definition of servant leadership by directly giving back to her community and team in any way that she can.

Carrie Douglas, JFS Board Chair, said Regnier’s prior work experience and organizational expertise, coupled with her knowledge of JFS, helped make this decision an easy one for the Board.

“The JFS Board could not be more thrilled to name Jennifer as our new CEO,” Douglas said. “Jennifer brings that winning combination of desire, passion, and leadership that is so imperative to sustain and grow the wonderful programming and services that are JFS’s hallmark in the Greater San Antonio area.”

Regnier has lived in San Antonio for more than 20 years with her husband, Brian, and three children. She currently serves on the San Antonio Parks Foundation Board of Directors.

Regnier assumes the role of CEO from Talli Dolge, who stepped down to take the role of Chief Executive Officer of the San Antonio Mobile Mental Wellness Collaborative, a program that JFS has been the lead agency on since its inception in 2019. As CEO, Regnier will represent JFS in the Collaborative as the program continues to grow across San Antonio.

“What Talli was able to achieve with JFS over the past few years is nothing short of incredible and the agency and Board are forever grateful and indebted,” said Douglas. “Transitions are naturally sad. Yet, we know that Jennifer is so marvelously suited to build upon JFS’s long legacy of service in the community and will be instrumental in writing the next chapters of our future achievements. There are no limits to our trajectory with Jennifer’s leadership and we cannot wait to see what is in store for JFS in 2022 and beyond.”
