Temple Beth-El to Host Hadassah Shabbat Feb. 19

Temple Beth-El will host this year’s Hadassah Shabbat online on Friday, Feb. 19, starting at 6:30 p.m. The service will include participation by members of the women’s Zionist organization, which has over 600 members in San Antonio. Hadassah celebrates its 109th anniversary of its founding on Purim. It traces its name to the heroine of the Megillah, Esther, whose Hebrew name was Hadassah.
Temple Beth-El’s Friday night services may be livestreamed by going to the website http://www.beth-elsa.org or if you want to participate via zoom please reach out to Joel Swedlove joel@beth-elsa.org the week of the service. A password is required to get onto the Zoom program.
