Why I Give: Debby Zucker

My mom was a great role model, a very generous person, and a major influencer in my life.  She always gave her time, treasures, or talents.   

Because of her and the abundant blessings in my life, I want to honor her legacy and what she taught by example. 

I am a senior and, as many of those in my circle can attest, we have seen the need for senior services – either actual services or a resource to help find what is needed. San Antonio Jewish Senior Services (SAJSS) provides services such as the Shabbat delivery program, transportation program, and CONNECT Information & Referral program to help address needs and keep older adults connected to the community.  

I believe in the mission, programs, and actions of SAJSS.  With an ever-increasing aging population, needs will not only continue but grow.  SAJSS needs the resources to serve our community’s older adults in the decades ahead. So, I have made the commitment to leave a Legacy gift to SAJSS to honor my mother’s legacy and help ensure that SAJSS is here to serve older adults for decades to come.
