9th Annual City of Shavano Park Chanukkah Menorah Lighting

November 1, 2022

The City of Shavano Park and Post 753 of The Jewish War Veterans of The United States,  for the ninth year, will place a wonderful menorah outside in front of the city hall offices, which is the center point for a gathering of families each night of Chanukah.  We assemble at 6:00 pm every night starting on December 18 and ending on December 26 at the Shavano Park City Hall on the corner of NW Military Hwy and De Zavala Rd.  Everyone is invited.  We will sing a few rousing songs of thanks and ask an attendee to light the candles of the menorah. Often a community rabbi attends to offer words of wisdom, but the emphasis is fellowship, warmth, and hope.  All are welcome to join us.   From start to finish is about 25-30 minutes.
